The sole survivor of the Air India plane crash said that he climbed out of a broken emergency exit after the aircraft hit a medical college hostel in the city of Ahmedabad, killing more than 240 people. Speaking from his hospital bed, Ramesh Viswashkumar described the harrowing seconds before the crash and the moment he realized he was alive.
