Hawaii ‘past the worst part’: Pacific Tsunami Warning Center

Director of the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center Chip McCreery said in a press conference that Hawaii is “past the worst part” of the state-wide tsunami warning as officials wait to lower alert level to an advisory. McCreery added that the state is unlikely to “see any impacts bigger than we’ve already seen.”
