Air quality alerts from Canadian wildfire smoke spread to the Northeast on Sunday, stretching as far as northern Maine. It comes as dry conditions fuel several wildfires out west, including the Gifford Fire, which grew to roughly 40,000 acres so far. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa has the latest.
